Woodford Church of England Primary School is a growing primary school with nearly 100 pupils from aged 2-11. There is a purposeful, calm atmosphere in the school where children have fun but are expected to work hard and learn new skills. The children are incredibly well behaved and are supported by a hard-working team of teachers, teaching assistants and other members of the support team. The staff share a responsibility for making learning life at school exciting, fun and enjoyable but also for raising standards. Above all else, we all know that happy children make the best learners!
We aim to foster an environment of success where children can ‘shine among them like stars in the sky’. All children are offered opportunities to celebrate success, raise aspirations and develop their own character. We aim to build courageous, kind and thoughtful citizens of the future.
‘Shine among them like stars in the sky’ Philippians 2:15

Teachers plan lessons that are well matched to the needs of the pupils. As a result, most pupils make good progress’. ‘Pupils enjoy school. They have positive relationships with the staff, who provide good role models so that pupils are polite and behave well in and around school’.

It is a real privilege to be Principal of this wonderful school. I am proud of all the people who contribute in some way to providing high quality education, opportunities and experiences for our children. We hope that the children leave Woodford Church of England Primary School having achieved their very best and that they have happy memories of the people, events and their time at this school.
